Q: Do you deliver to my area? A: We normally deliver to West St. Louis County. If you question whether or not you are in our service area, please call us at (314) 605-9995 or e-mail us at Sales@storksnow.com. We may be able to accommodate you or refer you to someone who delivers in your area. Q: How fast can I get my stork after I deliver? A: Just like you, we can deliver any day of the week. We’ll try our very best to get your sign up within 24 hours of contacting us. We deliver when you do! Typically, we have the stork in place by the time Mommy and Baby come home. Q: How much do you charge for your rentals? A: See our pricing page for this information. Q: What methods of payment do you accept? A: We accept cash, check, and PayPal. To pay via PayPal, click on the PayPal icon located on the pricing page. Q: When do I pay for the rental? A: We know this is busy time for you and your family. Simply make payment anytime before or during your rental period by cash, check or PayPal. However if it is a one day rental, please make payment prior to the rental period. If cash or check, simply mail it to us or feel free to leave it at the delivery address (taped to a door, under the mat, etc.) for when we arrive. Also, see our refund policy. Personal checks that are returned for insufficient funds are subject to a $25 return check fee. Q: Do I have to reserve a stork before the baby comes? A: Not at all! Reservations are welcomed but not required. Call us before, during or after and let us know when you would like to have your sign delivered. We’ll try our very best to get it to you within 24 hours of when you want it. Q: Can I rent a stork for someone else? A: You bet! What a great Welcome Home that would be for the new family. If it’s a gift, ask us about leaving a card saying it’s from you. Q: Do you have gift certificates available? A: You betcha! Just give us a call and let us know where you want us to mail it. When the baby is born, just contact us to redeem it. Q: What is a sibling star? A: A sibling star is an additional keepsake star which allows an an older brother or sister to be included in this special event. A sibling star may contain whatever message you like. A typical message is "Proud Big Sister Paige" or "I'm a big sister now! Paige". Sibling stars can be purchased for $10 each. Q: How big are the storks? A: They are 7-feet tall. Q: How are the signs set up? A: We use a large post that is driven into the ground about 10-12”. In order to do this we need a grassy or mulched area that is accessible. If you have a sprinkler system, please mark the spot where you would like us to place the sign if you will not be available at the time of delivery. We typically position our storks in line with your front door in the middle of the yard. If you would like a different location, please let us know. We’re happy to help! If you are in an apartment complex, please obtain permission from your apartment manager first. Q: Does someone have to be home during your delivery or pick-up? A: No one needs to be home when we deliver or pick-up the stork, with one exception. If you have a sprinkler system, we need you to be home for delivery in order to “okay” to location of the post. Or if you cannot be available, please mark the spot clearly in your yard where the sign should be placed. We usually place it in line with the front door in the middle of the yard. Don’t worry, we try to be as unobtrusive as possible as we know how busy and exciting this time can be. Q: What if I want to move the sign? A: Please do not attempt to move the sign. If you would like it moved to a different location in your yard, please call and we will be happy to assist you. Q: Can I mow and water my lawn? A: If you must mow your yard during your rental period, please be careful trimming and mowing around the sign. If at all possible, please avoid trimming around the sign go until it has been removed. We do understand that this is not always feasible, especially for one week rentals, but we do sincerely appreciate you taking precautions to protect our sign. Watering is fine; our signs are sealed to protect them from water damage. Q: What if the sign becomes damaged? Our signs have been successfully tested in wind and rain and have proven very durable. If however, you notice any damage as a result of severe weather, please notify us immediately. Our signs are not designed to withstand climbing by children. Please, for your children's safety, do not allow them to play on or near the sign. If any vandalism or theft occurs, please contact us immediately. Q: How are the signs personalized? A: Our storks come with a personalized keepsake star that is yours to KEEP! It is a white star which typically displays the baby’s first and middle name, birth weight and length, and birth date. If you would like different information, just let us know. Q: Do you take pictures and post them on your website? A: You bet we can! Just let us know if you want us to take a picture of your stork and post it on our website. Great for family and friends that are out of town! Q: What about Information Privacy? A: We will never share or sell your information with anyone unless it is required to complete the transaction. We value your privacy as much as we value ours!! Q: What is your refund policy?
